Dr. Margie Williams-Clayton has been married to Dr. Hurley Clayton, Jr. since June 19, 1981. She is the founder of Women of Wisdom of Liberty, also known as W.O.W., a ministry established to encourage, equip, and empower women through faith, wisdom, and Christian fellowship.

Dr. Clayton holds a PhD in Foundations of Christian Education from B. H. Carroll Theological Seminary at East Texas Baptist University in Marshall, Texas. She also earned a Master of Education in Administration from Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas.

An accomplished author, Dr. Clayton recently published Recalibrate Your Biblical Moral Compass: Living a Sanctified Life in Christ. She is also a dedicated educator who is passionate about imparting knowledge, wisdom, and biblical truth to others.

Dr. Clayton and her husband are the proud parents of five children: Baron, Lowell, Lovette, Adrienne, and Aisha. They are also blessed with fifteen grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.

At the heart of Dr. Clayton’s ministry is a desire for all people to receive Jesus Christ and to share the message of salvation throughout the world.
